Time is passing by, fast, outside my window. The other day it was a windy, grey weather with some rain. The day after that hot summer with a clear blue sky. Today again we had rain and a bit of a thunderstorm. I really like the weather – and I hate watching the forecast! Weather and life is much the same, passing by fast over our heads, unmanageable. The weather is pretty much all we have left that leaves us without any power. It´s a powerlessness I really love!
Lately I have been thinking a lot about secrets. We all have them, don’t we? Our own dirty little secrets that make us feel exactly like that – dirty! Ashamed, filthy, bad, powerless, unwished, anxious and afraid.
– “What have you done?!”
But then there are good secrets too, and I have been thinking a lot about them too. As a kid I used to lock myself into my room, drop the curtains and turn on the tape recorder at maximum! I became the big pop star singing duets with my idol. Millions and millions of people adored me, wow! Then I became an adult – boring, tired and empty of fantasizes.
Then I heard something on the radio the other day, at this theme. People called in and told all the swedes what they are doing when no one is looking, and I heard some amazing stories! I also surfed the internet to find out more about people´s secrets, the good ones, what people do when no one is looking. There was one lady who use to put on her makeup, before she dress up and start cooking. While making this three course meal she talks loud and clearly to herself. She pretends to be interviewed by a TV-team, making her own cooking show! That sounds as a lady who knows how to amuse herself!
What do you do when no one is looking?
